Career

Linda was best known for a modeling career in the 80's and 90's but now her career spans the world of stage, film and television. She most recently spent over a year and joining the notorious King family in ITV's Emmerdale. Linda was brought in for 10 episodes of The Bill to play detective Don Beaches estranged girlfriend Maggie Lyons in one of dramas biggest story lines.

Her lead stage roles include Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion, Shirley in Funny Peculiar, Not Now Darling and the musical Happy as a Sandbag to name a few.

Film credits have included Snappers with Joss Stone, Olympus Force opposite Christopher Lee and The Zero Imperative with most of the previous Dr Who's

Presenting credits include her own fitness slot on GMTV, a regular guest presenter on Wish You Were Here, two series of A Kind of Magic and her own ITV late night chat show called It's Bizarre.

Linda has appeared on the Royal Variety Show and has taken her own show to the British Forces overseas and was thrilled to be invited for tea with the Prime Minister at No 10 .

Linda took part in 'Celebrity Egg Heads' and to her delight she actually beat her Egghead.

This year Linda's skincare range 'Lusardi My Miracle' won the Ideal World Beauty award for the second year. Linda has enjoyed working with Pharma Nord to help promote the benefits of Omega 7.

Linda was delighted to be asked to become part of The Loose Women team in Oct 2014.

TV Highlights

  • Dancing on Ice

    Dancing on iceLinda most recently appeared in ITV's Dancing on Ice. She broke her foot in training but still managed to compete until week 7. She loved the experience so much she jumped at the chance to join the national tour around the country with Torvill & Dean. View video clip.

    EmmerdaleLinda played Carrie Nichols in ITV's hit serial drama Emmerdale being brought in to one of the shows highest profile storylines, "Who killed Tom King?" in 2007 for one year.View video clip.

  • The Bill

    The BillLinda played Maggie Lyons in The Bill opposite Billy Murray's dodgy Don Beech in an extended storyline over 10 episodes. View video clip.

  • The Games

    The GamesLinda surprised the British public competing in The Games for Channel 4. Not only was she 15 years older than her competitors but she was the onlyone with two children. View video clips.

  • Brookside

    BrooksideLinda played Frankie in Brookside opposite her real life husband Sam Kane.View video clip.

    Sleeping Beauty

    Linda has been starring in Panto ever since 1988. This year (2017/18) she will be playing Lusardi in Sleeping Beauty in Gravesend from 9th Dec '17 - 1st Jan '18.
